In 2011 Jake became the newest member of the NRCHA's elite Million Dollar Rider Club, with life time earnings in excess of $1.2 million.

He is a 2 time World Champion in the Open Hackamore.
Earned the #1 Spot for top money earning riders in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
In 2010 he set the record for most money ever won at the Snaffle Bit Futurity...$170,000+

Helping him set that record was One Time Rey Jay... as this horse was the 2010 Reserve Champion of the Snaffle Bit Futurity.

He has been in the top 5 of the Worlds Greatest Horseman multiple times, and twice the Reserve Champion of the Worlds Richest Stock horse.

Why I chose to ride a Bob's:
I won my first Bob's Saddle in 2005, started riding it the next day, and have been winning in one ever since. That original saddle still gets used every day, which says something about the superior quality and comfort of a Bob's Saddle. For the last 12 years, Jake Telford has been making a climb and traversing with more than substantial strides. Telford has leapt from peak to peak, reaching earnings milestones and making good time. The Caldwell, Idaho, trainer earned $233,151 in 2010, securing the Top Rider position for the third consecutive year. Cheering Telford on to No. 1 were his wife, Jessie, and daughters, Shawny, 6, and Sierra, 5. Jake takes pride in training futurity horses but loves to see the process through, by having some of the best bridle horses in the industry. Telford got his start as a professional roper. His first reined cow horse check was earned in 1999 during an Idaho Reined Cow Horse Association Open Hackamore class at the Caldwell Night Rodeo. His only earnings for the year totaled a small sum, $110, but it started the ball rolling on a big career!
